Tonight, technically "last night, or Thursday", Bobby Sprocket's in Milldale hosted a Chamber Advantage Night. It was fun to see Robert and Penelope show off their cool bike shop. If you are gearing up for Spring/Summer and want to get your bike tuned, there is a local shop to take care of you! Find Bobby Sprockets at 1529 Meriden-Waterbury Road, in Milldale. Something I haven't seen before the meeting is this new scooter with two platforms to stand on. It's a pretty neat mode of transport that takes the "balancing act" off a traditional scooter. It looks great for kids. I didn't get a chance to ask if the handle bar can be raised for an adult. The networking opportunity provided bt the Chamber was also really good. Got to meet a few new folks here in Southington and introduce them to SouthingtonScene.com. I need to remember to bring my camera!

I also stopped by Fire N Smoke, the Hot Sauce and Cigar shop on Center Street in Southington. They had a Rocky Patel Cigar Event, and were pretty busy. Got to meet some fine folks from The Outback Steakhouse. If you like Hot Sauce, you MUST stop in and see Paul. He has an amazing selection of Hot Sauce to suit all tastes, from mild to extremely spicy. It's worth a look, and it's right downtown.
